First Steps Cairns is more than just a child care centre, we are focused on helping your children learn through play in a happy and healthy environment so that they are prepared for the challenges of school and later life.
We offer a unique educational experience for your child, with a range of extra-curricular activities that includes Swimming, Soccer, Yoga and much more.
First Steps Cairns is located just off the Captain Cook Highway in Aeroglen, an easy and convenient drop-off for parents travelling into the Cairns City Centre and Cairns Airport from the Cairns Northern Beaches and Redlynch Valley.

(Nursery)

(Toddler 1&2, Pre Kindy, Pre Prep)
$129per day
fees as of 1.1.2025
These fee amounts are the maximum amount before the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) has been applied. The Family Assistance Office will issue you a CCS percentage depending on your family’s combined gross weekly income. A fee amount will then be worked out.
